With the acceleration of urbanization and the booming development of the catering industry, the discharge of kitchen waste sewage has increased dramatically. is rich in high-concentration organic matter, oil, nitrogen and phosphorus and other nutrients and a large number of pathogenic bacteria. If it is directly discharged, it will serious pollution to the aquatic environment and soil ecology, and it is also a waste of resources. This paper systematically expounds on the sources and properties of kitchen waste sewage, analyzes its environmental hazards. The research progress, principle, advantages and disadvantages and application status of physical-chemical treatment technology, biological treatment technology and combined treatment technology are reviewed, the problems existing in the current kitchen waste sewage treatment technology are discussed, and the future development directions of resourceization, intelligence and low-carbon are prospected, so as provide reference for the efficient treatment and resource utilization of kitchen waste sewage.
