Abstract

With the deepening of education reform, how to combine ideological and political education with subject teaching has become the focus of educators' attention. Ideological and political education integrated throughout curriculum is a new teaching concept, which requires teachers to combine the new teaching concept with the teaching activities of various subjects, so as to impart students' knowledge and guide them to establish correct values. In middle school English teaching, the implementation of the new teaching concept by teachers can enhance students' different abilities such as language ability, cross-cultural communication ability and cultural confidence. Based on the relevant literature, the author will discuss how to integrate the elements of ideological and political education in middle school English teaching and put forward some appropriate teaching suggestions.
